Your phone's
network superpower
A lightweight Windows companion that turns your Android app into a real network control center — block unwanted devices, pause internet access, scan open ports, monitor your network 24/7, and get desktop alerts when new devices join. Plus real MAC addresses and hardware-level data Android cannot provide on its own.
Three steps, that's it
No complex setup. No port forwarding. No accounts. Everything stays on your local network.
Download & run
Download WifiSetAgent.exe and double-click it — no installer, no admin rights required. The agent starts silently and appears as a small icon in the Windows system tray.
Show the QR code
Right-click the tray icon and choose Show Pairing QR Code. A page opens in your browser displaying the code — keep it visible on your screen.
Pair from the app PRO
Open WiFiSet on your Android phone and go to Deep Device Scanner. Tap the Agent icon at the top of the screen to open the pairing page, then scan the QR code shown on your PC. A PRO subscription is required to use Agent features within the app.
Capabilities Android can't provide alone
Android's WiFi stack deliberately hides hardware-level details and cannot control other devices. The Agent lifts both restrictions.
Block & Pause Devices
Cut off any device from the internet or from your entire network entirely — with a single tap from your phone. The Agent executes the block using ARP-level control directly on Windows. Requires Administrator mode and Npcap installed.
Port Scanning New
Probe any discovered device for open TCP ports right from the PC dashboard. Choose a scan profile — Quick, Web, Remote access, or Common services — or enter a custom list/range (e.g. 22,80,443 or 1-1024). Results are saved on the device record for later.
Intruder Alert New
When a new device joins your network, the Agent logs it in the event history and can show a Windows desktop notification — even if the dashboard is closed and the Agent is only running in the system tray. Toggle alerts on or off from the Manage panel.
24/7 Network Monitoring
The Agent continuously scans your network in the background — even when the mobile app is closed. It logs every device that joins or leaves, detects IP changes and reconnects, and keeps a live device inventory in a local database. Auto-scan interval is configurable from 1 to 60 minutes.
Local PC Dashboard
A real-time control center at localhost. Live device list with Trust / Ignore / Block actions, port scans, active blocks, event log, pairing QR, custom IP-range scans, and settings — all driven by the Agent's live API.
Real MAC Addresses
Android randomizes MAC addresses by default and cannot read others'. The Agent reads the actual hardware address for every device from the Windows ARP table — no approximations.
Hardware Vendor (OUI) Lookup
Every MAC address is matched against a comprehensive OUI database directly on the PC. Know exactly who made each device — Grandstream, Ubiquiti, Hikvision, and thousands more.
Faster Deep Scans
When the Agent provides hardware-level data upfront, many slow discovery steps on Android are skipped entirely. Scans that used to take minutes complete in seconds.
NetBIOS Device Names
Windows PCs and servers broadcast their computer names over the network. The Agent resolves these names natively and passes them to the app for richer device profiles.
Smarter Device Classification
The Deep Scan engine switches to a vendor-aware mode when the Agent is connected. Known brands like Grandstream and Ubiquiti are classified with hardware-level certainty, not guesswork.
Fully Local & Private
The Agent communicates only over your local WiFi network. No data leaves your network, no accounts, no telemetry. The pairing token is generated locally and stored only on your devices.
Built to stay out of your way
Minimal footprint, maximum reliability. The Agent is designed to run quietly in the background without impacting your PC's performance.
More is coming
The Agent is actively developed. Many improvements and new capabilities are planned — this is just the beginning.
macOS Support
Bringing the same capabilities to Mac computers — real MACs, ARP discovery, and NetBIOS resolution.
Linux Support
A lightweight daemon for Linux servers and desktops, so your entire network gets full coverage regardless of OS.
Phone Push Notifications
Windows desktop Intruder Alerts are already live. Next: push alerts to your phone when unknown devices join — even while you're away.
Traffic & Bandwidth Insights
Per-device usage trends and connection history — where the router or network provides reliable stats, without invasive traffic interception.
Deeper OS Detection
Leveraging desktop access to TTL analysis, DNS cache inspection, and Bonjour/LLMNR to identify operating systems with high accuracy.
